Very cute old fashioned diner! Cash only, which isn’t my favorite but I get it. And the no refills on soda is interesting but I like that. It was pretty busy but we got a table right away. I ordered B (with 2 over medium eggs, white toast, bacon, and American fries). My boyfriend ordered his favorite, the Bacon Skillet (with Swiss cheese this time) and white toast. It appears that the bacon skillet also comes with green peppers and onions(?), which is not listed on the menu. I didn’t feel like mine was a huge portion but it was good for the price. Bacon was very very crispy and a lil salty. Potatoes definitely needed salt and pepper and were just okay. Eggs and toast were fine. Nothing came out super hot but everything was warm enough. It was very warm and stuffy in the restaurant which isn’t my favorite. Overall not bad, but not thrilling me either.

The food, service, and friendliness are hard to beat. Came here with friends at times through the years on motorcycle trips for breakfast. Just tried lunch yesterday while in town. So good, I came back today. The food is delicious and the quality is top notch. Oh, and the soups. Fantastic! The staff and the owner/chef are top notch folks! Thanks for doing what you do. It’s great!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming little diner. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles 😁 We loved that the cook personally greeting each customer as they walked in the door. The staff was not only friendly but also efficient, ensuring prompt service. When it came to the food, we were not disappointed. One of the first things that caught our attention was the reasonable prices. It's refreshing to find a diner that offers quality food at affordable prices. We ordered the biscuits and gravy which were absolutely delicious. Another standout dish was the Meat Lovers Omelet, which was filled to the brim with a variety of meats. It was a hearty and fulfilling breakfast. While the main dishes impressed us, I must admit that the potatoes didn't quite live up to my expectations because of the diner's name, "Potato Shak." They were tasty, but they didn't offer anything particularly unique or different. Nonetheless, they complemented the meal well. One thing to keep in mind when visiting the Potato Shak is that they only accept cash as a form of payment. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a homestyle meal, the Potato Shak is definitely wort

This place was amazing. As soon as we stepped in the door we were greeted by the chef and then seated. This is a very family friendly place. Extremely clean, well mannered and highly efficient service. A great place with very well done meals. The taste is reminiscent of a well cooked family meal in the kitchen. We will be eating here until we can't.
